A performance-driven Business manager, I am an entrepreneur by nature. Having contributed for almost 24 years now in industry at different levels, in different roles and responsibilities. I also had a small and successful stint as an entrepreneur in e-commerce space. I am proud that I was always rated very high in terms of professional performance, innovative and performance-driven approach in Sales, Marketing, Logistics and General Management Leadership roles.
Currently I contribute in the role of AVP – Marketing ( Head – Brand & Communication ) at Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd. Where I had the priviledge of starting this vertical from scratch. We created the entire infrastructure for this vertical, created an entirely new Brand Logo, Brand Manual, a clearly defined S & M strategy with the help of a robust Sales & Marketing Budget, guided Market / ing Research, launched new Products / Brands and led Marketing Intelligence activities.
Earlier I have contributed in the Indian Cement Industry in different roles in Reliance Cement, Konark Cement, STAR Cement, Ambuja Cement, Lafarge Cement and Jaypee Cement. I also had very small stints at My Home Ind Ltd and Shree Cement where I started the Regional / Zonal business activities. I feel happy that I have been able to play my roles well and many Merit Increments, Honours, trophies keep reminding me of interesting achievements in all these organisations. More than anything, most of my colleagues who were part of my team last one decade are doing really well in the industry and in very responsible roles. All the work done under my leadership roles continue paying dividends in all these organisations.
My work has taken me around the country, in all major metroes, towns, cities. Every place I have enjoyed eating the local vegetarian food the most.
I enjoy long walks, long drives, visiting Temples, Hindi Film Music, Playing Badminton and Table Tennis. Whenever I get opportunity, I am game for any of these.
Currently I live in Kolkata, India with my wife Puja and Sons, Harshwardhan and Aditya. My parents live in Patna, Bihar.
